DESCRIPTION:The Alliance for Healthy Communities representing Pasco ASAP and STAND Above the Influence invites you to participate in our 2nd Annual fundraiser\, Pedal for Prevention; Saturday\, May 7\, 2022 – STARKEY PARK – PAVILION B. Event T-Shirt included! Click HERE to register! Adults $20\, Kids 12 and younger are free. \nThis year we are so excited to partner with SWAMP Mountain Bike Club\, adding a group Mountain Biking option to our annual event!!! \nOPTION 1: Bike\, Walk\, Run along the paved trail for a “FUN RIDE”. Start anytime between 9 and 11 am and go at your own pace\, any distance you like up to 12 miles. \nOPTION 2: MOUNTAIN BIKING will follow a group ride format – all starting at 9:30 am (sign in starts at 8:30am) and lasting about 2 hours\, covering 12 miles of singletrack. HELMETS AND TRAIL READY BIKES REQUIRED. Riders will break up into three groups: \n1. CASUAL MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDERS may be new to the sport (maybe even your first trail ride!) or might be experienced riders just seeking an easy pace to enjoy the plants and wildlife. SWAMP guides will lead the group at a more sedate pace and take multiple breaks along the trail. \n2. INTERMEDIATE MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDERS have some riding experience. SWAMP guides will lead the group at a moderate pace and will stop for a break between Twisted Pine (7 miles) and Deliverance (5 miles). \n3. ADVANCED MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDERS will go at their own individual pace without guides. \nPasco needs us now more than ever as we face a growing overdose epidemic. Our socially distanced outdoor event will be April 10th at Starkey Park. Meet us at Shelter #5\, all fitness levels welcome. 3 available time slots to register to help ensure activities are socially distanced.  \nAdults $25\, Kids 17 and younger are free.
